MACHINERY FOR THE MEAT INDUSTRY

MACHINERY FOR THE MEAT INDUSTRY

TALSA INTERNATIONAL

Talsa is a manufacturer of medium capacity machines for the meat industry.

Recognition is the action of appreciating or thanking a received good. Talsa has been able to earn that recognition, first in its country and later internationally. But everything is the result of a thorough and meticulous work that has been developing gradually under the strictest standards.

Success is not a matter of luck. There may be bad luck, but when a company progressively advances it means that it has created a solid foundation, and that has been Talsa’s key to success. In addition to creating a team based on professionalism and trust, it has directed its efforts on a common goal and the satisfaction of the workers is something that Talsa has not neglected since 1900, when the first generation of the Belloch family began their journey.

Three generations later and with the commitment to new technologies and quality under controls of verification and advisory bodies based on European standards, it has won awards such as the export award obtained from the Valencia Chamber of Commerce.

By having a goal and creating a sense of belonging, Talsa has achieved a model company.

It has also developed a sales system through its distributors, who manage their customers directly with a great delivery support offered by the company and with an impeccable delivery of parts in 48 hours for maintenance and repair anywhere in the world.

Since today’s successful companies base their success on the immediate delivery of a desire, of a purchase made by impulse or more conscientiously, delivery services will have to be taken into account.

Small companies have not been able to adapt to this requirement, which at the end will result in their downfall. When we go to a local store looking for a good and this is not available, the seller will offer to check its availability and come back to us. When it does not happen or the delay is too great to ignore, they will lose the client. And once a client goes away, it is simply too difficult to recover.

The delivery has partly become important for the success. An impersonal service is destined for doom. However, a personalized one is key to success, which is why Talsa contemplates immediate delivery times, because nowadays it is sign of quality and commercial excellence.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM TALSA

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM TALSA

NEW RESOLUTIONS

Time passes inexorably and one more year has passed in a sigh despite everything that has happened worldwide. We cannot distance ourselves from everything that happened with this pandemic, COVID-19 having its own chapter in the annals of history.

But despite everything, despite the setbacks that always show us the most negative side of things, we want to be positive and look at the coming new year with optimism, thinking like Don Quixote: “Trust time, which tends to give sweet solutions to many bitter difficulties”

At Talsa, a company that manufactures machines for the meat industry and has distributors all over the world, they have worked hard, expectations have been diminished and despite the difficulties, everything must continue. Health has become a priority, prudence is a value on the rise and many sectors have had to reinvent themselves, videoconferencing and teleworking have come to stay and science is on the march to provide us with a cure.

At Talsa, we have a thought of gratitude to all those people who have made it possible for the country to keep going, to those who have had the courage to show their optimistic and supportive side. Also, we would like to thank all  companies in permanent service as well as to the entire family that makes up our company for their work and their respect for the exceptionally established rules.

Despite everything, we are still here. This year’s Christmas parties are also going to be “otherwise” more intimate, more nostalgic but with the feeling of thinking that a farewell to this situation is coming, because, again, as Don Quixote would say:

“… as neither good nor evil are durable, the evil having lasted so long, good must be close, friend Sancho”

MEAT MIXERS

Manufacturer of machinery for the meat processing industry

MACHINERY FOR THE MEAT INDUSTRY

Machines!!  They are here to make life easier for us and without them we would be nothing.  From the industrial revolution to the present moment, machines have been settling among us. Nowadays, we look towards machines in order to satisfy our need to save time or to simplify tasks to a minimum effort.

We can still remember those first years when selling a mixer demanded the thousand arts of a traveling salesman, going from house to house. Later, the commercial strategy of “in situ” demonstrations was added and right now part of the success is in a good advertising campaign and proper marketing.

All this is very well if, in addition, a solid and quality product is offered since the smoke disappears after the first impact.

For many years Talsa has been making machines of medium capacity for the meat industry, for example for butcher shops or sausage manufacturers.

The collection of machines that compose their catalogue is extensive, but they are separated in families like mixers, fillers, mincers, cutters and kettles.  From the first machine that Talsa put in circulation, many more have followed with new and better benefits thanks to an innovating technology. As an example, we can mention the patented double direction of shovel rotation and trough that allows shortening the kneading time.

All in order to create more hygienic, robust and safe machinery in all its simplicity.

Talsa’s success in the international market is not gratuitous nor fortuitous. It has been based on constant research and self-growth. At the same time, it has been keeping an eye on new technologies and their careful management from the beginning of its productive process.

Also, it has created an elaborated and justified network of distributors well equipped for creating orders, and at the same time, delivering machines or spare pieces anywhere, all over the world, at any time, giving an immediate answer with no need of loss of time in doubtful interventions.

Their direct agents in more than 60 countries ensure their installation and putting into service, also guaranteeing the so customized technical service.

Talsa has over 100 years industrial experience.

BRINGING OUT THE BEST

BRINGING OUT THE BEST

TALSA

We were recovering from an economic crisis and now, when it seemed that everything was going well, that unemployment figures were decreasing, that business figures were increasing, life itself reminds us that everything is ephemeral, that we are facing a globally unknown danger and that, except for the scientific community, there is little we can do, except follow the recommendations in matters of health. Although we do not really know what to do effectively, the acceptance of the extraordinary will be the first step to be able to sit down, analyse and take action.

This is the current situation, so, depending on our interpretation, we will generate a positive or negative response to it. Although, we also have to take into consideration that we do not all start from the same starting line. There are some sectors that have been more affected by this crisis and will have to reinvent themselves. Those which remain resisting, will have to focus their attention on surviving in a different way, taking into account this new imposed normality, the safety distance, the sanitizing gels, the masks, the teleworking, the ventilation of spaces, the viral load, etc. Because we still do not have any certainties nor remedies.

“Bringing out the best in ourselves” is the positive phrase that we must hold on to because it means becoming aware of the situation and making decisions under the general premises and manage our emotions to be stronger. This is what we are trying to do at Talsa.

Our business efforts have always been fixed on technology, the innovation of our machines, customer service, delivery times, safety and quality, as well as on our professional distribution in more than 60 countries, Now, also in the best possible management during this pandemic, putting all the means at our disposal to be able to supply those meat companies that need us to continue operating so the food industry does not stop. Also, in our facilities and global management, hoping that, jointly, we can succeed by giving our best.

MACHINERY FOR THE MEAT INDUSTRY

Machinery for the meat industry

MEAT MIXERS

Many of the current companies in Spain have their origin in a small family business, which after a tough stage of rebuilding the country, worked hard to build a business.

Talsa has now been part of the Belloch family for four generations, who have enlarged the small mechanical workshop founded in 1900 to serve the electrical industry and it has become a factory with a consolidated industrial structure for the manufacture of machines for the meat industry.  A whole range of medium capacity machines for the manufacture of sausages.

The Talsa catalog consists of 5 machines:

All Talsa machines have been designed to allow easy access to their components and thus allow comfortable maintenance and cleaning; made of stainless steel, their construction is robust as well as simple.

Over time, Talsa has been surpassing the initial machines with new versions. Its R + D + i department works to develop new functionalities in order to improve working time, safety and hygiene.

The 3D computer design and its collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia has allowed it to design a new and exclusive design of blades that it has patented for its kneading-mixing machines.

A long time has passed since the Belloch family began its journey, having become, in the fourth generation, a world leader in machinery for the meat industry.

Their good work and their efforts from the management to comply with all the requirements imposed by the regulations along with their own quality and safety vigilance, have led them to consolidate the firm.

Talsa has a presence in the international market and its website in several languages provides private service to its distributors. A tool that, without a doubt, has given its distributors the opportunity of having any part and punctual service at any point from where it operates for its clients.

EXCELLENT DISTRIBUTION SERVICE

TALSA MACHINES

In this last half century, Spain has managed to catch up with its surrounding countries. With its entry into the European Community, it has had to accelerate its steps to strengthen its productions and open markets. From not having sales abroad to turning the Spanish meat sector into the first agri-food sector and world power.

The industry has accompanied the sector and we have grown spectacularly, having an unstoppable trajectory in the pork sector, allowing Spain to establishing itself as the third world exporter behind the USA and Germany.

With this expansion of the meat industry, all the machinery related to it is also opened to the outside, so machinery manufacturers for the meat industry also experience growth in their exports.

Talsa, manufacturer of machinery for the meat industry, with its range of machinery (stuffers, kneaders, mincers, cutters and cooking kettles) has also undergone exponential growth since it beginnings in 1900, when it started as a small mechanical workshop to later become an efficient industrial structure that, by opening up to the Community, was able to establish itself in exports around the world, creating brand leadership.

Spain is a country that has had to move forward quickly. It has also been an example of adapting to the new demands of international markets. We had a product guarantee, but Spanish industries have had to adapt to safety and quality regulations and demands during the production process, and it has done so without complexes to obtain excellent and successful companies.

Talsa has been one of these companies that has become a world leader in the manufacture of machines for the medium-capacity meat industry. Its success is not accidental. Talsa has invested and paid attention to all external and internal agents to build machines in a safe environment and comply with all requirements, and has also created a network of distributors that streamline management from the outside to the inside or from inside the company. A complete management and quality manual that has been achieved with determination.

Its production, transportation and immediate delivery, as well as the delivery of accessories for its immediate maintenance and repair complete their distribution in more than 60 countries, where Talsa is a synonym for quality.

THE SAUSAGE INDUSTRY

Talsa is a manufacturer of medium-capacity machinery for this pork industry.

TALSA

To speak of the pork industry is to speak of the meat industry and its set of activities. Likewise, the meat industry ranges from the large industry to the typical family industry, without hired workers, and Talsa is a manufacturer of medium-capacity machinery for this pork industry.

Spain is an agricultural and livestock country, although it strives to base its economy on the tourism sector. But tourism and gastronomy also go hand in hand because part of tourism is getting to know the country’s gastronomy and our ham is unique in the world.

Around the pig, there is a whole industry that enriches the country. Museums of the pork industry have also been created, which are attractions to know the history, the environment, food, slaughter and its cultural significance, derived products, the ingredients and condiments, the meat processing, the transformation processes of hams and sausages, their quality controls, etc.

In the last 50 years, the pork industry has gone from the family environment to the industrial field and, what had previously been done manually, finds a role with machines that stimulate and globalize work.

There are many museums around the Spanish meadows and Guijuelo in Salamanca has one of them, where they make known their Iberian pigs, their meadows of holm oaks, oaks and cork oaks offering a ham with the highest quality designation of origin, being the first recognized name to European level.

The tourism sector has been tremendously affected by this pandemic and everything points to the fact that this sector is going to suffer enormously because of this crisis. But this should not be a reason for our inland tourism not to take advantage to get to know and taste the gastronomy of these areas.

Castilla y León, Extremadura and regions of Andalusia and Castilla La Mancha are producers. It is a good time to make an incursion and get to know the gastronomy and landscapes of these communities as well as its museums, where you can learn the history of their regions.

MACHINES FOR PROFESSIONAL BUTCHER SHOPS

Talsa is a Spanish company, world leader in the food industry for the manufacture of machinery for the meat industry sector.

THE MOST MODERN ON THE MARKET

Talsa is a Spanish company, world leader in the food industry for the manufacture of machinery for the meat industry sector.

We visited Talsa and its manager accompanied us at all times around its facilities, from the R + D + i department to the machinery production facilities. We understand his leadership by seeing the facilities first hand, where everything occupies a perfect order in space, the warnings of the safety and hygiene rules at work, the silence in the warehouse, the image of his uniformed workers, etc … Its stainless steel machines appear to be part of a museum exhibition. This vision that we offer of their workspace, of the factory in particular, of its order, cleanliness and simplicity, underscores the idea of a company that has worked its image in line with values.

Leadership is a set of skills aimed at professional success. It is about seeing talent and empowering it. It is about investing in training. It is about listening, communicating and enthusing, and that is not easy. That is why, Talsa has known through the years, gradually adding more business adventures to its experience, such as the aroma and flavor of a good wine, making Don Quixote’s statement truthful: “Trust time, that usually gives sweet outings to many bitter difficulties. “

Its new machines are the result of never ceasing in the search for excellence.

Talsa has already become known in the international market with its 5 groups of machines: Mixers, Stuffers, Grinders, Cutters and Cooking Kettles, to which the latest generations are adding to the catalog. COVID IS PARALIZING THE INDUSTRY

Talsa prepares to return

TALSA PREPARES TO RETURN

Everything has its lights and its shadows, its faces and its crosses, its white and its black. The worldwide confinement due to the pandemic that has been caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus has shown how vulnerable we are. A virus has put in check the  entire world, our health, our economy, our lives and our customs. We thought we were the kings of the universe and it turns out that with our confinement the planet breathes, the animals do not miss us, the sky is blue and the cities are silent to encourage reflection.

It is a moment in which our lives have been personally affected by somewhat absurd rules that we abide by for our own and common good, and at the same time have put our professional and business life in check. Only the public servants of the health and food sectors have been able to continue their activity, frantically, while the rest, confined at home, begins to think after the first weeks of seclusion, how many people, how many companies can be saved, how to get out of this slump without resorting to drastic measures.

Everyone appeals to solidarity, but the reality is that solidarity alone does not get a country going. Each individual contributes wealth to society as a whole and despite some measure adopted in this regard, we are alone and powerless.

Productions stop, the sales decrease and the orders are served with difficulties. This is a common denominator and we hope that the virus will be eradicated and gives us a break soon in order to undertake what we are launching. This is what our client Talsa tells us, who distributes worldwide machinery for the meat industry.

At least the communications between companies have become more fraternal, aware that behind them there are people whom we now see differently. People we have no personal relationship with but we still begin an email with “I hope you are well”. Perhaps it is the only thing to be thankful for, these commercial relationships nowadays. Thankful for the empathy from our clients and suppliers, for putting ourselves in the other’s place, for helping each other as much as possible; although, also the shadows of the Spain of picaresque is present, giving rise to people with the gift of opportunity at the expense of the misfortunes of others.

At Talsa, they continue to work so that the incorporation of their workers is safe, not skimping on protective measures while coming out of the crisis.
